Four-year-old Paige Bennethum really, really didn’t want her daddy to go to Iraq. So much that when Army Reservist Staff Sgt. Brett Bennethum lined up in formation at his deployment this July, she couldn’t let go. No one had the heart to pull her away. Yesterday i noticed my parents are starting to look older now :/, altho at 21 and saying my folks are only in their 40’s they’re actually quite young.
I’m grateful that they had me young, i think that i have been raised completely differently to alot of people, i’m very lucky enough to still have both my parents and them still be together an unfortunate rarity in todays society. I don’t want to sound pretentious with this post, but i think over the last couple of years i’ve taken for granted what i’ve got.
